Its elevated views of the mighty Shotover River, shaded outdoor terrace, and full-sized hot tub creates the perfect atmosphere for a summer barbeque with family and friends.

Bedrooms:

Discover cozy bedrooms that blend comfort and simplicity for a restful night's sleep. Wake up to the soothing sounds of the nearby river, promising a peaceful start to your day. This house is spaced across two levels. The main entrance, garage, a bedroom with an ensuite are on the ground floor. The top floor is the kitchen/living areas, 3 bedrooms, a full-sized bathroom and ensuite, as well as a separate toilet and the laundry.

A well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare meals opening out to the seating area so you can mingle while preparing meals. Modern conveniences meet rustic charm in this heartwarming space with a TV room, seating area and separate dining space. This spacious home has enough room for everyone to comfortably enjoy nights in. Unwind in the comfortable living area with a fireplace, offering a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. Large windows bring the outdoors in, creating a seamless connection with the picturesque surroundings of the Shotover River and views of Coronet Peak.

Step outside to your private haven, where a riverside terrace awaits for al fresco moments. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the natural landscape surrounding The Stowaway. The outdoor space offers a dining area, comfortable seating on the balcony overlooking the river, a large fireplace to warm all and a full sized private hot tub overlooking the outdoors. The large backyard has a well-groomed lawn, with a trampoline and a sandpit with children's toys. Not forgetting the best feature, a heated and safe storage room for your skis, bikes and boot warmers to ensure your gear is ready to go the next day.

Location

Conveniently located between Coronet Peak and The Remarkables ski mountains, this well-loved home is only a five-minute drive to the rising Frankton area, where the newest bars, restaurants and shopping centres are located. The centre of Queenstown is a 15 minute easy drive from the home, and Arrowtown is a beautiful 15 minutes drive away. This home is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle, but so close to all the conveniences when needed.

  The house has a pin code to access, which we will provide you before your stay, so you can self-check in if you wish.

• Interaction

  We will be available to answer any questions you may have prior or during your stay. Rebecca or Hunter will also be on call for any urgent needs after 5 pm.

• Neighborhood

  This home resides in a picture perfect and peaceful area of Queenstown (Dalefield/Lower Shotover). The property looks over the Shotover River and has views of Coronet Peak and the surrounding hills. 'Your own private Onsen' as we like to say- but the views really do speak for themselves!

This is the perfect location for a larger family or group of friends who want privacy, serenity and magnificent views without the business of town.

  There is plenty of off-street and on-street parking available at this property and there is a bus stop along tucker beach road.

• Getting Around

  The T&C's for staying at a Tahuna Hideaway will be sent to you before arrival.

This property is located within a residential area. Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a low level at all times, especially between 8pm - 8am.

As agreed by Queenstown Council, the following rules apply:

No amplified sound/music is to be played from the outdoor living areas between the hours of 8pm - 8am.

All outdoor living areas must be vacated between the hours of 10pm - 7am.

The residents within the neighbourhood and the management company can call the council with a noise complaint if they have concerns between the hours of 10 pm - 7 am.
